Dr Meenakshi Choudhary has been shortlisted as a finalist in the professions category for the prestigious Asian Women of Achievement (AWA) Awards 2020..
AWA awards was established in 1999 by its founder, Pinky Lilani CBE DL, to celebrate Britain’s remarkable Asian women who have made a valuable contribution to the multi-cultural society of Britain.. Further details can be found on their website.
This nomination acknowledges Dr Choudhary’s pivotal contribution in the field of fertility, innovations leading to development of Three -person baby techniques to help prevent inheritance of deadly mitochondrial DNA disease from mother to the child and lastly her passion for supporting egg donors.
